GridWork is a real spreadsheet — a formula engine with proper lookups, conditional aggregates and statistical functions, real error codes when a formula breaks, and charts drawn from live data. Conflicting edits on the same cell are resolved automatically and shown clearly to both people, not silently dropped. Lookups that actually look up
VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, MATCH and INDEX resolve for real, alongside conditional aggregates like SUMIF, COUNTIF and AVERAGEIF and statistical functions like MEDIAN, MODE and STDEV — forty-odd functions in all, not a handful of the obvious ones.
Errors that tell you what broke
A bad reference shows #REF!, a divide-by-zero shows #DIV/0!, a
formula that loops back on itself shows #CYCLE! and a lookup that finds nothing
shows #N/A — propagated the way a real spreadsheet does, instead of a blank cell
hiding the problem.
Structure survives edits
Insert or delete a row or column and every formula that referenced the shifted cells — on every sheet in the workbook — remaps automatically. Nothing quietly points at the wrong cell.
